I've been following this Thermal Conversion Process for several years now, ever since I read an article about a mock-up in Discover magazine. It gave me hope that we can find a solution to two big problems: energy and waste. They've certainly had their problems in getting everything up and running, and the cost is more expensive initially than they had forecast, but they aren't subsidized either like big oil, ethanol, etc. Recently, they shipped 6000 barrels of renewable diesel fuel. This is quite the accomplishment IMHO, and I hope to be reading more successes in the near future.
